Preamble
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the website www.vagabond.gg and the Vagabond mobile application, published by Vagabond SAS. By accessing the website or app, you unreservedly accept these Terms.
Purpose and scope
Vagabond is a gamified tourism app for discovering France, validating visited places, collecting badges, and tracking progress on an interactive map. The website presents the service, offers editorial content, and allows tourism professionals to discover the Vagabond Pro offer.
User account
Some app features require creating an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account. In case of unauthorised use, contact us immediately at contact@vagabond.gg.
Use of the app
The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use, unless otherwise agreed in writing for the Vagabond Pro offer. It is prohibited to: • Bypass place validation mechanisms (GPS spoofing, fake validations); • Publish unlawful, defamatory content or content infringing third-party rights; • Extract or massively reuse app data without authorisation; • Disrupt the proper functioning of the service.
Vagabond Pro offer
The B2B Vagabond Pro offer (destinations, tourism offices, local stakeholders) is subject to specific commercial terms communicated upon subscription. Demo requests via the website are non-binding and do not constitute a contract.
User content
Photos and content you publish remain your property. You grant Vagabond a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute this content as part of the service (public profile, community features). You can switch your profile to private mode to limit the visibility of your visits.
Intellectual property
Vagabond trademarks, logos, interfaces, texts, maps, POI databases, and graphic elements are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorised reproduction or exploitation is prohibited.
Liability
Vagabond strives to keep place information up to date but does not guarantee the accuracy or permanent availability of referenced points of interest. The service is provided "as is". Vagabond shall not be liable for indirect damages, service interruptions, or decisions made based on app information. Users remain solely responsible for their safety and compliance with local regulations when travelling.
Suspension and termination
Vagabond reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these Terms, without prejudice to legal remedies. You may delete your account at any time from the app or by contacting us.
Applicable law
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the competent courts shall be those of the registered office of Vagabond SAS, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
Changes to the Terms
Vagabond may modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any material changes via the app, website, or email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
